First Class Courts

At IRCC we play tennis on first class Har-Tru courts which are well-maintained and highly utilized. The courts are open every day and are the scene of booming serves, alley shots, strong returns, and solid volleys. On those occasions when serves don’t boom and shots are less than perfect, we play on and enjoy the sport. If desired, a practice ball machine can be rented from the Pro Shop. No matter what your level of play, you will find our tennis group challenging and enjoyable. Open mixed doubles at 8:30 am on Mondays and Fridays, and men’s doubles at 8:30 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays are popular scheduled events. Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays are also active times on the courts with at-large play. We also have a men’s doubles team playing in the Space Coast Over 65 League. The group is informal but we have several social events during the year to include round robin competitions, tennis play topped with a picnic, and our annual November Tennis Party held at the At Ease Club. Tennis at IRCC provides fun, exercise, friendly competition, and great camaraderie.
